Mod 27 is a professional improvisational theatre troupe, which is a subsidiary of the Take Heed Theatre Company. They are dedicated to quality improv and have performed regularly throughout South Florida for the past 4 years. In this time they have become renowned for their humor, quality showmanship, group unity, and unique show format. Mod 27 has performed at the 2004-2006 Miami Improv Festival, the Third Annual Toronto International Improv Festival, the 2004 -2006 Out of Bounds Improv Festivals in Austin, Texas, the 2005 Gainesville Improv Festival, the 2005 Del Close Marathon in New York City, and the 2005 Gulf Coast Comedy Festival. |

StoryMakers is the theater for young audiences arm of Take Heed. Our goal is to develop innovative theatrical productions which educate, inspire and entertain. We survey the needs of educators and arts presenters as a regular part of our creative process; and once a piece is created, we provide fully developed study guides based closely on state standards. These guides, created by educators, are teacher and student friendly and allow for seamless integration into the curriculum. With support from the Rubin Foundation. |
