The Bard’s romantic comedy, A Midsummer Night’s Dream will be the subject of the final production in Take Heed Theater’s “On Stage with Page” series.
A Midsummer Night’s Dream is a classic play about love, based on mythology. "This comedy by William Shakespeare has been interpreted by many people since it was published in the early 1600s," noted Take Heed Theater Company co-founder David Hyland. "To this day each member of the audience brings his or her own background and the experience can be very individualistic."
The "With Page on Stage" production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream continues Take Heed Theater Company’s ambitious, six-month series, bringing the diversity and wealth of professional theater to a wide range of audiences. The play reading series uses professional actors, as well as up-and-coming performers to produce dramatic readings of the finest pieces of work in modern theater. |
